Lotus 30 S2/1 Found!

Note modified door - they originally were mounted on 'piano hinges' that mounted on the outer edge of the chassis under the door. So if you then opened the door, you actually had a longer distance to get into the car as the door then swung straight out from the top of the door. It was easier to get in if the door was left closed and then you just stepped over the closed door and window and then placed your foot in the bottom of the seat. You then wanted to not put much weight on the fibreglass floor as you may put your foot through it if you did! This door design is certainly an improvement over the factory design!
